Heroku, the online Rack cloud platform-as-a-service (PaaS) provider which was acquired by the enterprise cloud computing firm Salesforce in 2010, has recently announced that it will commence providing for apps written in Java. This makes Java the fourth language that is being supported by the San Francisco, California-based company.
The company set out processing apps written in Ruby on Rails and afterward spread out to sustain Clojure and Node.js. Now, Heroku has also added Java.
